At the B&B Villa Valentina it is necessary to have a car to get around at best.
Around the B&B Villa Valentina:
Taormina 7km by car. You can park at Porta Catania and visit the whole city with the map we will provide you with; Greek Theater, Odeon, Piazza IX Aprile and much more.
Castelmola just 13 km by car. It is the small medieval village above Taormina from where you can see the whole valley and drink a good glass of almond wine.
Etna Rifugio Sapienza just 50 minutes by car. Along the way, you will cross ancient lava flows.
Savoca and Forza d’Agrò, the two towns chosen to shoot the godfather film. In Savoca you can visit the convent where mummies are kept and in Forza d’Agrò the ghost quarter.
The Alcantara Gorges are a natural wonder. Here the river flows between two high walls of lava rock.
